Based on its mission of making the world healthier, the VERI, VYSION, and Rayence R&D centers spare no efforts for consistent research and development of innovative and market-leading products guided by a unified roadmap. Such efforts bore fruit; we succeeded in launching a “low-dose” X-ray system with 75% less radiation exposure in a move to maximize customer value. We at VATECH are committed to reducing the radiation level in X-ray equipment and taking the lead in the development of technology that promotes people's health.
Compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive
VATECH is prepared for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive on medical systems, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2014. It completed the setup of the Green SCM designed to use environment-friendly materials for all components of products. By using the components manufactured in compliance with the RoHS Directive and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) as well as strengthening the green product competitiveness of our first- ~ third-tier raw material suppliers, we realized green product and green supply chains at the same time. VATECH is leading green efforts in the medical systems market by satisfying the needs of the global market through the control of hazardous substances and compliance with environmental restrictions.
Under the core values of “Best, Innovation, and Sharing,” VATECH Networks is working toward furthering universal human values of conservation of energy, resource, and environment. We have been implementing the “Hate Waste” campaign in our everyday life since 2011, targeting a 20% reduction in energy consumption in 2015.
