Code of Ethics

Vatech Networks’ Code of Ethics is the foundation of our business activities and is the “criterion of decision making and behavior” for all members.
We practice the principles based on six main themes: customers, shareholders, employees, asset protection, fair competition, and win-win management.

Basic ethics of employees

  • Clearly distinguish the public and private corporations, and do not file false reports.
  • Maintain top-down workplace courtesy and respect each other, and provide a healthy working environment that is free from sexual harassment, violence and verbal use.
  • Prevent bias and discrimination based on academic background, gender, religion, lineage, nationality, etc.
  • Understand that violators will be subject to disciplinary action if in violation of the Code of Ethics and other laws, and uphold the obligation to report in accordance with established procedures.
  • Uphold organic cooperation and active communication with mutual respect among affiliates, recognize their roles and responsibilities, and perform their duties with utmost care.
 

Protection of assets

  • Employees use the company’s assets in accordance with their business purposes and are prohibited from abuse.
  • Employees must actively protect all the tangible and intangible assets of the company based on security and information management regulations.
  • Employees are prohibited from use of unauthorized information obtained by a person or third party.

Fair competition

  • Provide continuous support for competitiveness through business support and mutual cooperation.
  • Do not receive money or entertainment from outside stakeholders in any case.
    (However, if it is unavoidable in business, you should obtain prior approval from your supervisor.)
  • All domestic and overseas sales activities shall strictly comply with the laws and regulations of the relevant countries and regions.
 

Win-win management

  • Respect mutual benefits with partners and establish good faith relationships and conduct fair transactions in accordance with relevant laws.
  • All transactions are transparent and fair in terms of mutually beneficial cooperation, and prohibit unfair practices that take advantage of superior positions.
